Christmas
He loves this trick almost as much as he loves his new rocking horse! Thanks Grandapa.
The journey started out like any other adventure, leaving at the crack of dawn calculating our miles, about 12 hours from our doorstep- to our stop in Utah, we should be there by dinner or so we thought. After 10 hours of driving on unusually snowy roads in Oregon this time of year, we weren't even half way there, and to make matters even more complicated we were on the side of the freeway with a blown out tire. We changed the tire ( or at least Lee did while Jack and I sang our hundreth X-mas song of the drive, and cuddled by the heater) and ended up getting a hotel with Lee and I both promising to give it our best the next day. What a trip. We arrivedon day #2 around 5:00 PM, 19 hrs of driving for a 12 hour trip. While our begginings were a little shakey, it has been a great ride since. Triple Christmases, a rocking horse, a garmin, great meals, family times, and good friends have blessed our stay so far, with still a week of vacation to go. Happy Holidays to everyone!
