Umpqua State Park, Presidents Day Weekend.

Over the weekend we were able to travel with friends to Umpqua State Park, about 3 1/2 hours from Portland. The drive was beautiful and we stayed in Delux Yurts on the lake (like min-cabins but better) just a minutes drive from the ocean. The views were absolutly amazing, pines surrounding the Yurt and Lake, while just over the bluff was the Pacific Ocean with sandy white beaches. We had a relaxing time, did a little hiking, crabbing, and spent time on the beach. Over the weekend the temperature was past 60 degree's and of course true to Oregon form, everything was green (even in February). Thankyou to the Fine Family (Amy, Josh, & Kenton) for the invite and a great weekend.
