Brooklyn Ellen Gunther's Blessing Day March 3rd 2013
Dear Brooklyn
On March 3rd 2013 you were given a name and a blessing by your father Lee Hartman Gunther, to be known on the records of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Mom is so grateful to a friend of mine and also your aunt Cherlyn for writing down your special blessing.
Brooklyn Ellen Gunther
Brooklyn, your Daddy blessed you to want to seek out those who have preceded you in life
and learn from their example
To be able to have a family of your own
He blessed you to have strength, and courage.
He blessed that you would make good decisions through out your life, to
seek out prophets and to read and learn from the scriptures to
desire to gain education.
You were blessed to someday learn in the temple and have desire to be sealed in the temple to your future family.
Daddy prayed that you would use those gifts that Heavenly Father will bless you with in your life
that you will bless members of your family and be inspired by them
He told you how much your family loved you, how grateful we were to have you in our lives.
How special you were.
Your family loves you. We know that you will do great things in your life. Remember who you are, your great worth.
Remember that you come from a strong family. Look to those who have came before you, your parents, your grandparents, aunt and uncles, and your great grandparents, they love you and want to help you learn.
You are named after your Great Grandma Ellen Peterson. Study her life. Learn from the way she conducted herself. I gave you that name in hopes you would one day emulate her strength.
You are such a blessing to our family. Your sincere joy and love for life shines through in your smile. I pray that you will always keep that positive energy and love for life, that you will take all of your strengths and talents and build upon them, to bless your life and others around you. I love you. I am so grateful you are here, I know you were sent to teach me, and I know now how much I needed a daughter.
-With loveYour Mom.
